About the Course
Children enjoy three full weeks of our virtual half day wellness camp Monday-Thursday learning a building mindfulness, yoga, and emotional intelligence skills in preparation of our FRIDAY outdoor Adventure Camp Meet-Up at the end of the week! We will spend each Meet-up immersed in nature practicing the skills we learned throughout the week and connecting with other campers in person. At the meet up, children will be guided through morning yoga hikes, and fun outdoor activities that encourage the practice of skill built and learned throughout the week; with Virginia Beach's Beautiful Natural Trails and Parks as the back drop for outdoor emotional wellness.
The entire camp series is three weeks long: Each week is themed, children can attend each week individually or all three weeks to gain the full spectrum of emotional learning.
Week 1:Â Introduction to Mindfulness and Yoga
Week 2:Â Understanding Emotions
Week 3:Â Trauma Informed Practices and Integration.
Children ages 8-14 are welcome to register. Space is limited so be sure to register early! 10% off each child Early bird. Multiple child discount available

Amber is a certified Hatha, children's, and trauma informed yoga instructor with a unique approach focusing on breath work, nervous system regulation and restoration through sound and other somatic practices.Amber is also a certified Anger Management educator with 15+ years of experience in human services and mental health.
