About the Course
~Learn how to discharge stress and tension from their bodies
~Learn breath techniques to help regulate the nervous system and calm the chaos in the mind.
~Learn to Identify, communicate, and flow through emotions with confidence and competence.
~Learn and practice trauma informed resiliency yoga postures and flows
~Create their own flows
~Explore mindfulness tools that help them flow through difficult and intense emotions.
~How to embrace and embody their emotions through movement, yoga, and sound.
~Practice age appropriate partner and group yoga.
~Use play, imagination, and story telling to explore the world of yoga and body movement (specifically with pre-adolescent ages)
~Learn tools to help build emotional intelligence, body awareness and acceptance, self-trust, curiosity and problem solving, creativity, discipline and perseverance and SO MUCH MORE!
Amber is a certified Hatha, children's, and trauma informed yoga instructor with a unique approach focusing on breath work, nervous system regulation and restoration through sound and other somatic practices. Amber is also a certified Anger Management educator with 15+ years of experience in human services and mental health.
